3rd Annual 9/11 Ride

Fundraiser 9/8/19

The ride started with a Meet and Greet for all of the out of town guests, with a Dinner Ride.  Riders were treated to a visit of Tommy Herman's place of firefighter memorabilia and then a meal at Rosa's in Hopewell.  The fundraiser had the largest turn out this year and we raised a lot of money for the local firehouses and the Evan's Haynes Burn Unit at MCV Hospital in Richmond, VA

Yearly visit to Tommy's...
Tommy is a member of VA8 and puts on a cookout for the chapter each year and shows off his collection of Firetruck/firehouse items.
if you are apart of the red knights and want to see this extensive collection be sure to contact a VA8 member.

You have to ride when the weather is nice in January

Memorial Day ride

On Memorial Day, several Red Knights from VA8 toured the National Cemetery in Richmond to pay respects to those that have fought for our freedoms.  Next stop was River City Diner for a quick stop for some grub.  Richmond Fire Department #1 was next with a last stop at Hollywood Cemetery.  A wonderful day with lots of moments to reflect on why we have such a wonderful country.
